Oy...!!
April has been a busy month! Let's see, Olivia turned two..yippee..!
Olivia is ever so sassy, talkative, into baby dolls and doll strollers, purses and bows and princesses..and lions and tigers and bears..oh my..!! ;-)
We had her birthday at the park in our neighborhood. It was a beautiful day, but boy was it windy and a wee chilly. But, the kiddos did not wear anything but long sleeves..they were determined to enjoy it, like kids do, even if the adults were bundled up!! And our neighbors, the Coloradians they are, showed up in short sleeves to show us it wasn't as cold as we thought..LOVE that!!
Had a baby shower for a friend..aren't those just the greatest..! I mean, what did I hear..the two most important events in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why you were born...! Although, I haven't figured out the second for myself..but I'm open to new possibilities everyday..!
Other than that we've been waiting on our next bend in the road..and the job that hasn't been announced...yet...whether Scott has it or not. I am hopeful..
So, we wait...and that is a great time to blog..while I wait..and wait..and yeah..you get it..!!
Evan is excited to have a pirate birthday party next month. And can I tell what a small wonder it is to hear him say he will be five without being prompted. Yes, it's the first time I've heard him tell an adult how old he is..although we are still working with putting the fingers along with it..! I just need to tell you that sometimes our children pick things up like this naturally...while others take a while on the small stuff. And it's a lot of small stuff..little stuff we pick up on that makes a noticeable enough difference. But, I guess you either think I'm just making it up..or you will take care of my kids for a week and find out yourself..!!
So other than that we are just living large and in charge in CO..!! ;)
