Life has an interesting way of creeping back to you sometimes.
Today, I had my first dental appointment in about 2 years. (Yes, to all of you dental friends, I know...but, they said my teeth look great!!) For the rest of you, it sounds really stupid for me to tell you this...but before I had Evan I was a Dental Assistant. Probably not a very good one..but, I did what I could.
Yet, I worked for 5 Dentists in 2 different states over about 4 years..so, you can imagine how frustrating that can be. All Dentists come with their own specifications and glory, to say politely, so I had to learn their quirks and try not to be so vocal. I did try..!
So, that takes me from the desert of California to Greenville, SC.
But, let me get to the point, because most of you have stopped reading at this point!!
So, now that we are planting ourselves here permanently, I have now had a chance to sit and think about an outside career. Also, take a moment and just remember all the places we've moved and all the frustrations that came with it...!!
When Scott and got married, I was set out to be a Dental Hygienist, but because of moving around with the military of Scott's job, our plans just kept falling apart. By the time we got to SC..our little marriage was about 7 years...we figured it was time for kids.
And here I sit...5 years and two kids later.
I really can't imagine having the time for a job, with all Evan's appointments and such..but, I get the feeling it won't always be like this..just on the progress we've made.
Adding another little nostalgic moment to my dental visit, as I'm leaving the office today they had a little Stampin Up table of homeade cards.
Wait..shut the front door!!
Some of you know I have a sad obsession with card making and scrapbooking, mostly started from Stampin Up, and I LOVE my sad little obsession...!
So, anyways...life keeps turning and changing. I guess it's just a silly nostalgic part of today...perhaps it's not worth sharing..I don't know. Roll with it folks, it's all I got for the moment..!!

  1. I think your cards are beautiful. And I also think you should sell them, as I've told you before. It could be a sign if you want to see it that way.... (and we could do base craft fairs together...)
