Just wanted to say a warm and heartfelt "thank you" to all those who came to Evan's birthday today..and for all the lovely, lovely gifts he received.
We are pooped..but we had an awesome day!
The only thing about these things that always makes me kind of sad is that I can't sit down and talk to each and every person and have a good chat or catch up with the recent news and just be part of their world and family for a little bit.
I suppose it's always the way it goes at these things..!
So, yes Evan is FIVE. He was sporting his favorite overalls and Both him and Olivia played pirates all morning. Of course, by the time the party started they were over their costumes already. And then wouldn't you know it, all Evan was interested in was opening gifts..! Ha..gotta love this child..!! We are still working on the whole gratitude thing...
Overall, we had a lovely day with all our friends.
65 degrees today..beautiful, and officially feels like summer.
So, wherever you are, I hope you had as good a day as we did!
