We've had a nice summer here.
Lots of rain..and I LOVE the rain!!
A few weekends ago we recieved the blessing of landscaping..!! (It's looked like we've lived on the moon for the past six months..yeah..we've already lived in our house that long!!)
So here's the yard..
...yes, that's an LSU yard knome..Scott was super-excited to get this!! :)
Also, the month of July was quite a busy month..here are a few highlights..!!
I went on a women's retreat with our church to Whispering Pines B&B in Cripple Creek, CO and met several awesome ladies (pictures of all of us on my f/b wall). So, here are a few of the views..!
They had the most awesome full size porch swing..and I took every opportunity to find the time to lay on it and look at this..!!
We also had a visit from my BIL and SIL a.k.a. Uncle Mike and Aunt Cindy and their handsome son Christopher. ;)
Since this doesn't happen as often, we had some pictures taken to mark this occasion!!
...towards the end of the week..Oma did come to visit us and Evan and Olivia just eat her up..literally!!
And the end of the month was our 13th Anniversary..in 2013..!!
Other than that we've been getting Evan evaluated for Auditory Processing issues..and will sign him up with some social groups with 4 other little boys when school starts.
We'll see how well this kiddo takes to a FULL day of 1st grade..!! (and his teacher..lol!!)
Olivia is excited to go to pre-K twice a week..she is beside herself that it's finally going to be her turn!!
