say hello to my kindergardener!
Well..this has been a fast first few weeks of Kindergarden. I feel like I took this picture yesterday..and it was almost three weeks ago that was his official first day!!
So, here is my mischevious little man..ready, with backpack and by the door for the bus to come.
I guess things are going "ok". His teacher has informed me that she and Evan are still learning each other, and he's doing fine!
I am trying to keep up with the few things they have sent home for homework in check and trying to work on a many of things. Tying shoes (a little early, I think) trying to get him to memorize our (new) address and my cell phone number, and reading (but, we do that already!).
My concern that half day is not long enough, or consistant enough for him..and am wondering if I should switch to all day full days. I think it's going to be a definite question in our parent/teacher conference in Oct.
So, he's doing well. Somehow, I know he's not fully "organized" in this new environment..but, time will make it familiary to him soon enough.
On another bit of news, our house could very well break ground this week. Here is a link to the model home (although, just picture all our kid proofed furniture in it and white cabinets in the kitchen..).
So, I'll post more as it's coming along...over the months, of course!

Also, little Olivia is doing great..she's still pretty adamant about being a princess..and talking and talking and talking..!
(Oh, and anyone having ideas for a site that helps me find great activities to do with a two year old..lmk!!)
