My precious..bitterness

Oh, this little girl!
6 years..and I'm completely in love with this child!
I dropped her off at school today, cookies in hand to share with her class and she smiled her huge smile at me..oh...I could feel her excitement as she was getting ready to share her birthday with her class!! And in that very moment this song comes on..
"I'm finding myself at a loss for words..and the funny thing is, it's ok...

And then came the water-works and behind my super-star sunglasses came a flood of tears...good tears..!
I'm thinking of all the times I thought I was a horrible mother..and God gently spoke into me with "I gave you all you needed.." and all the times I felt like I wasn't taught how to love my children and again I gently hear, "these children are gifts..see them as gifts..".
Word of God speak..
I wasn't listening because I wasn't believing.
So, this is my short little blurb to you..if you have kids..or even if you don't.
You are enough.
You were created for something wonderful..even though you may be too tired to believe it..or your emotions have overtaken the joy..you are!
I didn't believe it either..but I hope you do now.
I hope you rest in the joy of parenting...you have what you need in the two hands you have.
This is God's words spoken into us..when it makes us perk up and fully hear there is more..there is a future..and you are part of a generational story..!
